Our second in class quiz will be held on September 30th, at the start of class, 12:00 pm. It will last approximately 30 minutes.
The material covered will be oscillations: the basics and what happens when you add damping.
Recommendation to prepare: Make sure, at a minimum, you can do the example problems we did in class and for homework. Sections of the book include: 5.1, 5.2, and 5.4. You can look at the relevant exercises for those sections for more practice.
No notes or books can be used, but specific math related things like hyperbolic tangent identities, or obscure integrals beyond the normal elementary forms will also be given, but make sure you can handle the fundamentals of solving integrals analytically.
Bring a pencil.
