Dr. Hedberg teaches Physics and Astronomy at City College and is the director of the CCNY Planetarium. He studies science visualization and the history of science and astronomy, and is a Visiting Scientist at the American Museum of Natural History. His artwork portraying the 88 IAU constellations appears in a recently released (October 2022) star atlas published by National Geographic. He can be found in various city parks, at odd hours of the night and early mornings, often with a telescope, trying to witness the splendors of the night sky.
